I drive a Kia Soul and picked the larger sized cover because the previous one I purchased from another company was so tight. I’m glad I did! There are a couple inches of extra material on each side, but I think that’s great actually.The fabric feels very rugged and stiff. I’m able to press most of the wrinkles out and it remains upright without any sagging. The center tucks in nice and tight under the back seat crease, so when you put it into the hammock style it doesn’t slide all over the place but creates a nice finished and firm edge behind the front seats. No paws pushing into the backseat foot area (see image).I really don’t notice any smell except for “new.”The gray color is a nice neutral tone that works well with my black interior. It’s easy to drop it out of the hammock style so people can sit in the backseat. Plus it looks nice. I’m pleased!
