Not every item that is reviewed, is used for its intended purpose and that would be the case for this travel bag for car seats. We have a car seat for our granddaughter that only gets used once in a while. During the times that the seat isn’t being used, it sits in our basement, waiting to be installed for the next usage. So, this travel bag acts as a storage bag and dust cover for us. It is perfect and fits the car seat very well. It took a little bit of shifting to get the seat to sit properly in the bag but once we figured out how it was supposed to be placed in the bag, it fit beautifully. The adjustment strings for the top opening pull tightly closed to keep the car seat clean and dust free and the top flap of the bag snaps securely in place over the opening. The strap that closes the top flap isn’t adjustable and is a fixed length. I would have liked to have it a little shorter but that isn’t the case. The “backpack” straps for carrying this car seat are a little on the thin side of things and they dig in a little when carrying the car seat. This doesn’t really affect us as we aren’t carrying the car seat around through an airport or anything and are just storing the car seat in the bag but for those who interested in the travel aspect of this bag, the thin straps might be a deal breaker. I’m not a big fan of the bright white lettering on the front face of the car seat bag either but once again, that’s personal preference and it has no effect on the bag or its use. The material this bag is made of is thick and durable and it is actually a lot more heavy duty than I thought it was going to be. While I can’t say how this bag works for travel, I can say that as a storage bag and dust cover bag, it is absolutely fantastic and I love it.
